I would be lying if I said laser hair removal wasn’t painful – but it’s also so worth it! Your hair growth slows down, you shave way less, and it’s such a quick service to get in and out for!

I just completed my armpits, but it’s definitely something I will be doing on other areas as well! Here’s a breakdown of things you might be curious about!

The Price

You need to buy a package for laser, you can pay by session, but chances are it’s cheaper to get a package for a certain area! I purchased a package of 8-10 sessions, and ended up doing 2 touch ups later on. For the touch ups, you pay those out of pocket, and really just need to go back if hair starts growing. I would say to budget anywhere from $350 – $1,000 depending on the area, and number of sessions! I won’t give specifics as Chantel’s pricing has changed, and every person is different! If you’re interested and are in the South Denver area I highly recommend her!

The Pain

If you’ve had piercings and tattoos – it’s a different kind of pain. I would say it’s like a bunch of warm pinches, and it’s bare-able, but just make sure to schedule when you’re not on your period because your cycle will make the pain 10x worse.

The Timeline

I was always interested in how long will it take – and I watched so many videos, but for me it took 10 sessions to complete, 3-5 before I noticed, and 2 touch ups occasionally when it starts growing back. The hair is so much finer, and so much less than what I dealt with before, but I would give it a good 6-8 months to complete. I started probably a year or so before my wedding, and I could definitely notice a difference even on my wedding weekend!
