The Great Resignation is here and everyone is quitting their jobs. But before you quit your job, watch this. Whether you’re quitting and opening a business, or quitting and going somewhere else, it’s important to think things through!

First up, how do you know it’s time to go? I think it’s important to ask the question how does it serve you, is it growing you, or how is it furthering you! If you can’t answer those, you may be stagnant, or at a place where you need to re-prioritize what you want to do. Once you ask that, I think it’s important to find other options and map out where you want to go next and give your job as much notice as possible! I gave three weeks, but two weeks is of course standard. Start to get things organized, and think in terms of how you’d set up the next person for success. Get last minute things to the finish line, and prepare to exit! Once you’re out, stay in touch with people, but also, make sure you share where you’re headed next!
