Last weekend we did a co-ed baby shower for Baby West. Pretty crazy that we’re now less than 2 months away from baby arriving, but we are getting so excited. Our Moms are still throwing us a traditional all girls baby shower, but I feel like it’s really fun to get your group of friends together for a co-ed baby shower and play games! Here are all the details, and I made a list over on my Amazon Storefront of everything we used:

For the baby block decor we filled them with balls that we will be putting in a ballpit in our playroom for our son in the future. A lot of times, you buy decor, use it once or twice, and then throw it away. With filling the baby blocks with balls instead of balloons, we’ll at least be able to give part of our decor a second life.
As for the Baby Blocks, we’ll use this for our Traditional shower too, and then we have other friends expecting that have upcoming showers that may want to use them!
Our entry table I get a ton of questions on, but it’s actually just two Enloe Cabinets from Nathan James. Use this link to shop over on my LTK It – some sites run sales, so just compare the links on the post to see which option is cheapest at the moment! The decor on the entry table was important to me because we had games going, and we like to host a lot but I wanted this event to feel like something special, rather than us just packing our house full – I’m serious about that being our favorite activity.
The signs are DIY, I made them using my Cricuit & ordered them from Amazon, I’ll link them here, but they’re also in that full list I dropped up above on my storefront. The Bottles for the Chug Game are actually a kit you can purchase on Amazon and it comes with a sign if you’re not into the DIY sign projects. The mini bottles with M&M’s are also an Amazon find, I made a post with everything you’ll need to make those here.
The cookies deserve their own spotlight, my friend is in the process of getting started opening her own business, and she did an amazing job with these! Custom cookies are anywhere from $50-75 a dozen if you’re looking for someone local or on Etsy but I would say they a favorite at our party! If you’re in the Denver area and need someone, I can share her info with you just send me a message!
A Drinks and Diapers party isn’t a new concept or something we came up with. Typically, a guy will have a drinks and diapers party and invite all the guys over, in exchange for beer and dinner you typically bring diapers or wipes for the expecting parents! We combined the concept with a Pregger Kegger, which is a casual, co-ed version of a baby shower where all of your friends come, you get a keg, grill, and host friends. It’s low pressure, so there’s no gift opening, and the option is left open if you’d like to buy something from the registry, or just bring diapers or wipes! Not very many people in our friend group are having kids yet, so we felt like this made the most sense for us! When we have the traditional baby shower our mom’s are throwing, some of my girlfriends will go, but it will be for their friends to have something to attend!
Let me know if you guys have any other questions after reading this, happy to answer any!
